A Tip for Closet Organization

Do you find it hard to keep track of which clothing items you wear regularly? If you’re not sure if you actually wear a particular pair of black pants or a specific white shirt, try this strategy: Pull the item out of your closet and then hang it back up, only put the hanger going the opposite way from the rest of the items in your closet. Write a note on your calendar three months from now. If, by the end of this season, you haven’t worn the item, you will be able to tell because the hanger will still be backward. This is your cue to donate it or to sell it at your next garage sale. (If the item is out of season right now, then mark a date on your calendar at the end of the appropriate season.)
